Mary Griffitts, a jury consultant, founded the Dallas-based Trial Consulting Enterprises which specializes in litigation consulting. Ms. Griffitts is a lawyer who is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana. Prior to starting her own jury consulting firm, Ms. Griffitts was a Senior Litigation Analyst with Dr. Phil McGraw’s trial science firm in Dallas that handled cases such as the cattlemen’s suit against Oprah Winfrey along with other high-profile entertainment litigation.

Ms. Griffitts jury consulting experience includes conducting mock trials and focus groups, creating juror profiles, drafting juror questionnaires, witness communication training, conducting mock arbitrations and mediations, venue studies, voir development and presentation, jury selection and trial monitoring, along with presenting CLE seminars to various bar associations and corporations regarding jury research.

Ms. Griffitts has consulted on thousands of matters in both state and federal courts. Ms. Griffitts has developed a particular expertise in conducting thorough focus groups and working with witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. Ms. Griffitts has been featured as a jury correspondent for several different television news stations to discuss trial matters and media strategy as it pertains to jury selection and courtroom performance. Ms. Griffitts also has a theatrical arts/communication background and has given many presentations in this arena. Ms. Griffitts is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Louisiana and the American Society of Trial Consultants.
